Refections

Portuguese-based band The Heels are set to release their first EP, Reflections, under Reverie Records. The EP includes the previously released single Summertime’s Gone. On Reflections, the band adopts an instinctive and effective approach to music, resulting in songs that feel close and intense for the listener. As the name suggests, the record is a reflection on the times we live in today, moving musically from indie rock to grunge and alternative rock.

The songs on Reflections were written and recorded throughout 2025, a year in which the band evolved and grew increasingly connected to the new sound they were developing. During the summer, the band entered the studio and played several live shows across central Portugal, where they presented some of these new songs. Now, in 2026, with the recordings completed, The Heels are set to release this new EP, which brings together the latest single Summertime’s Gone with the new tracks Awake and Jungle.
