improv#ALTE
JordãoJORDÃO presents improv#ALTE, a sonic journey inspired by the most cultural village in Portugal. From the improvisation born at the FUSOS festival, new themes emerged, where uncertainty transforms into light and the unknown guides us to “a chegada”.
The EP brings together three original pieces created through the exploration of the double bass. Among them, words find their voice in the poem Tom de Voz, interpreted by José Anjos, while “a despedida” resonates with the saxophone of Filipe Valentim.
In improv#ALTE, JORDÃO celebrates the roots and reinventions of Portuguese music, unveiling new spaces of emotion and silence.
Live, the audience is invited into the artist’s “musical room” — an intimate listening experience where the double bass engages in dialogue with Eduardo M. Jordão at piano and João Hora in sound design.
