Vida Nova

Manel Cruz is releasing his first album under his own name and has released O navio dela, a song that will be part of the disc. The album consists of 12 songs written mostly on the ukulele as a ‘return to the origins’, ‘a consequence of the desire to return to the studio and the stage after a creative hiatus’.

With lyrics and music by Manel Cruz, O Navio Dela was arranged by António Serginho, Eduardo Silva, Manel Cruz and Nico Tricot, long-time accomplices. The song was recorded by Manuel Reis at Estúdio do Bandido and mixed by Manuel Reis and Manel Cruz.

The album includes a book with the lyrics transformed into illustrations on the walls of an abandoned house.
