Manel Cruz

Manel Cruz is a musician, composer and visual artist. He began his career as a composer and vocalist in the band Ornatos Violeta, and later, after the band disbanded, joined the bands Pluto and Supernada. At the same time, he developed his first solo work, called Foge Foge Bandido, in which he also had the musical collaboration of several guest musicians. The project included the publication of a book with illustrations by the author and respective lyrics. Later, he would release the album Vida Nova under his own name. Since then, in addition to other projects, he has been playing solo, combining new songs with revisiting his career. His artistic career also includes collaborations with artists such as Carlão, Stereossauro, Samuel Úria, Aldina Duarte, Dealema, Da Weasel, Deolinda, among others.

Today one of the unavoidable names in music, he quickly became a cult figure in Portuguese rock, with a sublime musical curriculum and a legion of fans.
