Vendaval

Now available on all digital platforms, “Encarar o Vendaval” is the new single from Alcabala, the solo project of Lisbon musician João Leal, and is also included in the 2025 edition of the Novos Talentos Fnac compilation. The song precedes the artist's second full-length album, “Dinossauro Azul,” scheduled for release in early 2026.

With lyrics and music by João Leal, “Encarar o Vendaval” presents itself as a fusion of sound and conceptual narrative. It is also the first appearance of a central character — the Blue Dinosaur — who gives the album its name and leads the listener through a story of alienation, search for identity, and resistance.
