ROJO

The main intention of the album ROJO is, musically, to create an entirely acoustic project, moving away from my latest recordings, in which there is always the intention to explore various distinct sounds, but, when combined, achieve different results that are always united.

In the case of ROJO, I brought together great musicians who gave the album a natural beauty and wisdom, as well as playing the arrangements exactly as I wanted them to sound when I created them.

On this album, I decided to do something between World Music, Bossa Samba and Fado (due to the presence of the Portuguese guitar in all the tracks, pointing (once again) to new directions for the natural evolution of Fado), trying to make it easy for the listener to hear passages and harmonic spaces that are sometimes complex, doing exactly the same thing with the melodies. 

The lyrics cover various aspects of life, ranging from the struggles and problems of the vast majority of humanity, to the turbulent times of today, to more philosophical views on humanity itself, to the relationship between successful and troubled loves, and to everything that is happening around us. I told stories…
