Trovador Falcão

Trovador Falcão is the heteronym of David Simões, a young musician who aims to build a place in Portuguese music, a project that began in 2017 in Lisbon.

Melros and Neo-Rural are the names of the latest works released - from 2018 to 2021. The next one to be released will be called “Pedra, Papel, Tesoura” and will be “the artist's first major work”. Firstly due to the ambitious composition and production but also due to the need to establish himself as an emerging name in the Portuguese Indie music scene. Pedra, Papel, Tesoura is a Pop-Rock work and at a time when several pop-rock projects in Portugal have put rock aside, Trovador Falcão not only embraces the style again, but also develops it and pushes its limits. Trovador Falcão also performs live at Musicbox, Com Calma in Benfica, Sabotage Club, Tokio, among other stages he has shared with other artists such as Calcutá and Metamito.

In concerts, the project takes the form of a rock band, composed of Henrique Rosário, Bernardo Pereira and João Curado who are committed to a fun, energetic, dreamy and psychedelic show, in fact these are the characteristics of what makes up the mind and work of Trovador Falcão.
