Susana da Costa

Susana da Costa grew up surrounded by traditional Portuguese music. As a child, she joined a group dedicated to the traditional genre, taking her first steps on a rich musical journey grounded in the country's cultural roots. 

Over the years, Susana has explored different aspects of music, including several pop and rock cover projects, dance bands, light orchestras and a musical duo focused on entertaining private events, where her versatility and adaptability became evident. She also collaborated with a musical theatre company, expanding her artistic universe and challenging herself to explore new forms of expression. 

In 2023, Susana da Costa decided to start a new cycle in her career: creating her own original songs. This project, with a deeply traditional and poetic character, combines her roots with influences from World Music, resulting in a unique sound that transports the listener to an intimate universe. 

With the release of her debut EP, Flor de Lume, Susana da Costa begins a promising chapter in Portuguese music, remaining faithful to her origins, but also exploring new sounds that define her as an authentic and constantly evolving artist.
