MARIA VEGAS is the alter ego of Manuela Marques A.K.A. MyPitangas, and this is her first foray into the music scene.

Born in Porto, with a restless and creative mind, she has paved her way through the world of arts, which began with her academic training and today presents herself with multidisciplinary skills and a life path, both professional and personal, full of stories to tell. These are stories that she writes and composes with the same provocative attitude with which she faces life, never settling for the banal. She navigates in a style that she calls herself retro-indie-cinematographic and in this work she challenges to break with the society's paradigm that you don't start a new career at 40 or that you only pursue your dreams at 20.

Since 2022, she has been working with Paulo Furtado on this first project of hers, which, in 2023, received the support of the Cultural Fund of the Portuguese Society of Authors.
