Almirante Ramos
Almirante Ramos is a music lover and co-founder of the label Amor Fúria, which, together with FlorCaveira, led a new wave of Portuguese popular music for almost a decade. He was a guide and patron, he released records, organised concerts, made music videos and imagined a new homeland. It was also with Amor Fúria that his first songs and first projects emerged – O Verão Azul and A Praia Grande.
In November 2020, he released his first EP, 'Cinco Canções', and took on the epithet Almirante and his surname as a name for his artistic intent.
In May 2021, he released four remixes for the single "Volta". His first full-length album is a reinterpretation of a "lost" album by O Verão Azul, which was never released, called 'Fiéis ao Romance'. The songs and lyrics already existed, only one ("Fogo de Artifício") was released. The reinterpretation was done solo, with the precious help of Gagliardini Graça, the producer, and the songs gained both in arrangements and individuality and the name of the album changed to 'Fiel ao Romance', from which the single "Portas do Céu" was extracted, a poetic narrative of a genuine romance in which through words and songs we can aspire to the place of the gods.
