Strange Birds is the new album by guitarist José Dias, with Brazilian pianist Ana Fridman and British musicians Joshua Vadiveloo (double bass) and Johnny Hunter (drums). Recorded in Coventry, UK, in 2024, this work explores, through free improvisation, childhood memories and cultural differences between musicians. This is the tenth album by the Portuguese guitarist based in Manchester and the fourth on the label Sintoma Records.
