Poço

Sir Dinha Blues Band

Sir Dinha Blues Band release their first single, “Poço”, a track that anticipates their debut album “Viso”, to be released soon. With influences from blues and rock, the group formed by Rafael Keil Verde (bass), António Gorjão-Henriques (drums), Francisco Bouza Serrano (vocals and guitar) and Pedro Duque Balikó (guitar) bets on a raw and intense sound, revealing their musical identity through a track where melody and words come together spontaneously.

“Poço” appeared as if by magic. For months, Francisco Bouza Serrano carried a persistent melody with him, without being able to transform it into something concrete. Until, by chance, he found on the table in the living room a book left by his father: “Já não sou o que era agora mesmo”, by João Francisco Lima. The poem caught his attention immediately – perhaps because of its short title, perhaps because of its reference to water – but the truth is that, as if by magic, the second verse fit perfectly into the melody that had accompanied him for so long.

A music video directed by Bruno Wolf Pinto and Clyde Hannah was also released to accompany the single, which amplifies the introspective atmosphere of the song and visually reinforces the intensity of its message.
