Eunice Barbosa

Saxophonist and singer Eunice Barbosa is one of the emerging artists in the jazz scene. She began her musical career in a philharmonic band, studied classical music at the D. Dinis Conservatory of Music and began her jazz studies at the Luiz Villas-Boas Jazz School, then went on to the Lisbon Superior School of Music where she graduated in jazz. She represented the Hot Clube de Portugal school at the 2019 IASJ and has played in venues such as the Carlos Paredes Auditorium, the Malaposta Cultural Centre, the Gulbenkian Gardens, the Lisinski Theater (Zagreb) and the Altice Arena. Currently, her original music project is the main focus of her career, but she is also part of other projects such as the Nihuju trio and participations with the band Elan Mess.
